The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore nearby attractions like Lucca and San Gimignano. The villa itself was charming with rustic touches and a beautiful view of the countryside. Jens, the owner, was a fantastic host, making us feel right at home and providing helpful recommendations for restaurants and a wine tour. The meals prepared by Jens using local produce from his farm were some of the best we had in Italy. We can't wait to come back!

    Recommend this hotel.

I had the most amazing stay at this villa. The location was perfect, with easy access to Florence and Siena. The panoramic views were amazing and made my trip nice. The hotel facilities were great, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that had a medieval Tuscan charm. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel, adding a unique touch to my stay. The large kitchens were a great bonus for families, and I loved that the hotel had animals that added to the charm, especially for little ones.

    None.

The rooms at this villa were spacious and clean, with breathtaking views from every window. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby villages and attractions. Another advantage was the helpful and friendly hosts, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Finding the villa was a bit difficult due to the sparse signage and loss of GPS signal. It would be best to arrive during daylight hours to avoid any navigational challenges.

Our stay at Villa Montecastello was good. The value for our money was excellent, and the room had a charming rustic feel with thoughtful touches. The location was magical, offering amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. The staff, especially Jens, the owner, were hospitable and were great too make our stay lovely.

The only small suggestion I have for breakfast is to offer a wider variety of pastry items.
